Greetings denizens of the gaming world!

In last week's poll, we found out that a minority of us here are only monolingual (or many of us are exaggerating ;) ). Surprisingly, or unsurprisingly, German seemed to be a lingua franca (other than English) among many of us here.

In this week's poll, we are wondering how you get to work or school. I'm going to guess POV will win, but we shall see.

Public transit is the way to go in NYC. Don't have money for a car, and definitely don't have time to be looking for parking lol

POV - Flexible Hours plus and America being allergic to public transit outside of big cities makes it nessacary.

@Baboking You are outnumbered by your fellow American car drivers 😁 I actually live within a few blocks of a metro station along the line that could take me to work, but from the stop near my work to my actual building is like a 2km walk. I would do it if I didn't have a car already though. But also I have a weird schedule every once in awhile that would make it cumbersome to not drive a car to work on those days.

Americans love their cars--that's a fact, but we do have a lot more space for it. But it's still weird seeing F350s or other super duty trucks in the city or near the city--so unnecessary.

Edit: Actual pic of my parking lot at work:

Geez you sure a truck dealership isn't renting your parking lot?

Or does Chevy/Ford give great discounts to vets?

I tried using the train and tram to work, in Oslo a few times. I found out, that its not for me.
Overcrowding and not punctual enough.
And too many people smell.
And public transportation in Norway is expensive, so not much gain there.

@CS42R lol no, that's just an image from google maps. That's what it feels like when I'm driving to and through the parking garage, especially since every space in the garage is a compact spot.

@Chris P Bacon You've defied the expectations we had for the Euros :P

Car, Miami has some of the worst public transportation I've ever seen. Facts. And then I'm stuck in traffic everyday for 40 minutes more than I should be. 💃

POV gotta i live a lil too far for public transport

I live really close and could take it...but it's about convenience for me...15 minute from apartment building to work building versus a 30-40 min+ commute via train (even though it's only 5 miles away total).
